Competitions

The competition opened on the 1st August and closes on the 30th September.  This competition is currently accepting submissions to its competition in the following sections: 

Professional - Traditional

For songs that:

• have been recorded with more than one instrument and/or voice
• are in the traditional country genre

Professional - Contemporary Modern

For songs that:

• have been recorded with more than one instrument and/or voice 
• are in the contemporary or modern country genre

Amateur - Traditional

For songs that:

• have been recorded with just one instrument and one voice
• are in the traditional country genre

Amateur - Contemporary/Modern

For songs that:

• have been recorded with just one instrument and one voice
• are in the contemporary or modern country genre

Blues and Roots and Bluegrass 

For songs that:

• are in the blues and/or roots and/or bluegrass genre

Lyrics (only)

For songs that:

• do not have any music associated with them - are just lyrics

Junior

For songs from:

• entrants who are under the age of 16 years at date of entry
